About the Principal
Christopher Bradbury B.Ed (Secondary Education: Humanities and Social Sciences), M.Ed, MACEL, MAICD and MACE was appointed Principal by the College Board and commenced his tenure in January 2025. A highly qualified and experienced educational leader, Mr Bradbury has a genuine commitment and passion for the growth of young people to achieve their personal best through instilling a love of learning.
Mr Bradbury was previously Principal of Northholm Grammar School in Sydney. Under his leadership over the past six years, Northholm Grammar achieved outstanding academic success, positioning itself as a Top 50 School in NSW. This drove enrolment growth, financial stewardship and quality educational infrastructure, which in turn elevated the reputation of the school. Mr Bradbury played a key role in building a vibrant school community and a culture of belonging.
He started his teaching career at Hurlstone Agricultural High School, where he taught history, legal studies and English, and gained leadership experience as the Head of Administration and Head of Boarding. He spent the next 12 years at The King’s School, Parramatta where he held senior leadership positions including Director of Teaching and Learning, Head of History and Legal Studies, and Housemaster.
Mr Bradbury holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Educational Leadership from Harvard University. Committed to continuous learning, Mr Bradbury also completed Oxford University’s High Performance Leadership Programme and Executive Leadership Programme, as well as Harvard University’s Achieving Excellence Leadership Program for Principals.
He has co-authored Year 11 and 12 modern history texts and been awarded several teaching awards and scholarships—including the NSW Quality Teaching Excellence Award in recognition of outstanding teaching practice by the NSW State Government. He was a recipient of both the Gandel Holocaust Studies Program for Australian Educators Scholarship and the NSW Premier’s Westfield History Teacher Scholarship.
