World's Greatest Shave
By Mr Brett Lamson, Head of Year 12
Over 100 students in Year 12 cut, coloured or shaved their hair on Monday and Tuesday to help raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation. I have been so pleased to see the dedication and commitment to the cause shown by students, and the way that the entire cohort has gotten behind this cause.
I’m incredibly proud of the way that Year 12 students have put their hands up to participate in the World’s Greatest Shave, to donate to their fellow classmates, to make contributions to the bake sale, or to simply help with sweeping up hair or giving their classmates a pat on the back and a clap after the shave has been done.
I’m thrilled to be able to share with you that at the time of publication the cohort has raised an incredible $101,067.40.
Thank you to the entire Radford community for helping us achieve such a wonderful result and for giving us the opportunity to make such a meaningful contribution to the Leukaemia Foundation and the important work that they do.
