Australian Orienteering Championships
Radford Orienteering Klubb, known as ROK, has been meeting weekly and travelling off site to test and extend their navigation and fitness skills – essential skills for the adventure and endurance sport of orienteering.
Over the holidays the skills acquired were put to the test at the Australian Orienteering Championships (AOC), incorporating the Australian Schools Orienteering Championships (ASOC) which includes students from New Zealand.
Radford Orienteers excelled at this event and brought home the following medals:
Ariadna Iskhakova and Matty Maundrell were named in 2024 Australian Schools Honours Team.
If you want to know more about the Radford Orienteering Klubb, please email ROK coach Toni Brown.
