Mural enlivens campus quad

By Ms Dimity Kidston, Secondary School Arts teacher

We are excited to unveil a new mural on the Secondary School campus by artist Happy Decay.

This new mural is a vibrant representation of Radford's values and community spirit. The newly completed mural is inspired by the natural bushland surrounding the campus. Combining the rich colours and patterns of native plants with abstract elements, the artwork evokes imagination and creativity.

It transforms the space, creating a welcoming environment for both students and staff. Whether taking a break or walking through, it invites the College community to enjoy and reflect on the beauty of nature and the power of artistic expression.

A huge thank you to the Radford College Parents & Friends Association for their generous contribution, which made this project possible. The mural stands as a testament to our shared commitment to fostering an inspiring and inclusive campus.

Earlier this year Happy Decay, with the help of our Year 10 visual arts students, converted a shipping container on campus into a work of art. To read more about it, click here.
