Radford orienteers selected for Nationals

Radford Orienteering has a proud record for developing strong and committed orienteers through its Orienteering activities.

This year, as in former years, Radford student athletes demonstrated their skills and fitness with eight of the 20 ACT ASOC (Australian Schools Orienteering Championships) Team made up of Radford Orienteers.

Senior Girls – Mia Kluth (Year 12, Wandoo), Katherine Maundrell (Year 11, Wandoo), Aoife Rothery (Year 12, Huon)

Junior Girls – Sanda Halpin (Year 10, Acacia), Ariadna Iskhakova (Year 9, Huon)

Senior Boys – Max Johnson (Year 12, Karri)

Junior Boys – Matty Maundrell (Year 9, Wandoo), Patrick Maundrell (Year 7, Wandoo)

These athletes will compete at the Australian Schools Orienteering Championships in Armidale in the next school holidays. For more information on the Championships, click here.

We wish our 2024 Radford Orienteers all the best at ASOC 2024!

In 2018, ACT Orienteers were part of the victorious ACT Squad at Nationals which included seven 7 Radford athletes, 3 of whom were recognised in the All-Australian Honours team.
