College Oztag Gala Day
On Friday, Radford entered two teams into the College Oztag Gala Day held at the Dickson Playing Fields. After a cold start to the day, the girls and the boys teams lined up against schools from across Canberra, testing their Oztag abilities in an expanded playing setting.
Although the teams put in some great performances, neither team was able to crack the top 4 and progress to the finals. Both teams' efforts were fantastic. Thank you to Ms Thearle for taking the teams to the event.

Bring the Brumbies Back to School
On Thursday, 5 August, two members of the Brumbies squad attended the U14 Radford Rugby team training session, following a competition win by Roz Lemon to 'Bring the Brumbies Back to School’.
Lachie Albert (scrumhalf) and Rory Scott (backrower) passed along tips and tricks to our players as they worked through training.
Both Lachie and Rory engaged the group well, offering fantastic insight and guidance on various areas of the game. They provided practical advice that the team was able to carry forward into the game on the weekend.
The U14 team was very lucky to have the players attend and we would like to thank the Brumbies for this opportunity.
